HELP SHAPE THE PLANS FOR SILVERTOWN – FEEDBACK FROM FIRST ROUND OF ENGAGEMENT

Between March and May this year we held an initial round of engagement on our proposals for Silvertown.

It was great to see so many local people interested in our plans and taking the opportunity to take a closer look at the Millennium Mills. 138 people attended our public exhibition and 105 people provided feedback either at the event or via Commonplace.

Feedback on our proposals has included making sure the development delivers benefits for the wider Royal Docks community. This includes:

  • Providing new shops, cafés and restaurants in the area
  • Improving access to green spaces
  • Bringing Millennium Mills back to life with a mix of uses for everyone
  • Celebrating the waterside location and creating activities around this unique asset
  • Scroll down to view what local people said to us about their priorities for Silvertown and the first phase of development.

If you were unable to attend these events, all material is now available on Commonplace so please take a look and let us know if you have any comments. We will be holding more consultation events in July and will provide more detail about these shortly.
